Wild Wings offers the corporate or leisure hunter excellent year round chukar and sporting clays shooting as well as superb in-season duck hunting.
We have 960 acres of excellent natural cover including tall grass, willows, shrubs and cat-tails surrounding a 100 acre slough and exiting creek which provides for a very challenging hunt.
We offer year-round hunting and sporting clays. We hunt Cock Pheasants and Chukars from October through to April with hens and Chukars being used the rest of the season for dog training.
We encourge hunters to bring their dogs out, but also have dogs and handlers available.
No licences are needed, you may hunt on Sundays and there are no seasons or limits on birds.
Sporting Clays is the closet thing to actual field shooting there is. This game simulates the surprise, challenge, and target varieties of most hunting conditions encountered in the field. You don't need fancy clothing or a $5,000 gun, just your trusty old hunting gun. Our setup is the latest in sporting clays called Birdbrain or Five Stand Sporting Clays. All trap machines are fully automatic, self loading and controlled by a computer which can be set for different skill levels and patterns.
We are located between calgary and Edmonton at Innisfail. The clubhouse is only one mile off the pavement, but is very private and secluded, overlooking a 100-acre lake. The ideal place for company B.B.Q.'s to Christmas parties, cross-country skiing, horse drawn sleigh rides to dog training and trials. Bring your friends out, warm up on the sporting clays, spend the afternoon hunting the relax by the fire in the clubhouse.
