The MCRT uses a McBros customer model 700 type action manufactured to aerospace standards. The action design includes a Sako extractor, thumb lever bolt release and Remington style trigger and safety. This rifle comes with a steel trigger guard and floor plate. Available in both right and left hand models.
The MCR uses a Remington Model 700 BDL action which has had the barrel threads, front receiver ring and bolt face trued, the recoil lug ground, the locking lugs lapped and the trigger adjusted to 2.5 lbs.
Standard features include a McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, inc. pillar bedded fiberglass stock with Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad and corrosion resistant matte black polymer finish.
